Why Talent

For communities across Africa, unlocking talent potential can change everything.

We are leveraging connectivity and technology to bridge the opportunity gap.

Education

Talent development keeps students in school and helps them succeed. Access to mentorship, scholarships, and digital tools means young people can excel, dream bigger, and inspire others.

Time

Without access to networks and mentors, students spend years trying to “figure it out” alone. Shasha’s programs save time by connecting them to clear pathways, so they can focus on learning, earning, and giving back.

Women’s Empowerment

Across Africa, women and girls face extra barriers—early marriage, cultural restrictions, and fewer professional opportunities. When communities invest in women’s talent, they get leaders, innovators, and changemakers who build stronger families and stronger societies.

Social Mobility

We help young people break cycles of poverty. Our work enables students to move from underserved communities into meaningful careers and livelihoods. This creates ripple effects that lift entire families and transform societies.

Millions of young people live without access to resources, networks, and livelihood opportunities.

The majority live in rural or underserved areas and spend years struggling to overcome systemic challenges: limited schools, lack of role models, and scarce pathways to higher education or entrepreneurship.

Every young person who breaks through these barriers becomes a catalyst, carrying innovation, leadership, and economic opportunity back into the communities that need it most, and inspiring the next generation to do the same.

How we nurture talent

We take an ecosystem approach to equip the next generation, through providing tools,
technology, knowledge and networks.

The Return on Talent

Every £1 invested in youth talent development creates multiples in social and economic impact, through education, job creation, healthier families, and stronger communities.

It’s a solid investment: unlocking talent is perhaps the most powerful tool for sparking sustainable growth that humanity has ever known.
